앵커리지 한인사회가 1월 29일 한인회 관에 모여 2025년 노인회 신년 구정잔 치를 성대하게 개최했다. 이번 행사는 따뜻한 연설과 흥미로운 공연, 그리고 정성스럽게 준비된 전통 한식으로 가득 찬 뜻깊은 자리였다.

행사는 가벼운 운동 세션으로 시작되어 어르신들이 몸을 풀고 활력을 되찾을 수 있도록 도왔다. 부드러운 스트레칭과 간 단한 동작을 통해 참가자들은 즐겁고 상 쾌한 분위기 속에서 하루를 시작할 수 있었다.

이날 행사는 한국의 풍부한 문화유산을 기념하고 새해의 희망을 함께 나누는 자 리였다. 참석한 어르신들과 한인들은 따 뜻한 환영을 받으며 다양한 공연을 감상 했다. 특히, 한국의 전통 민요 아리랑을 감미롭게 연주한 색소폰 공연과 박진감 넘치는 전통 타악기 북과 장고 연주는 관객들의 큰 박수를 받았다.

이어진 순서에서는 여러 귀빈들이 연설 을 통해 희망과 격려의 메시지를 전했 다. 박중석 총영사 및 총영사관 대표는 한인 사회의 결속과 문화 보존의 중요성 을 강조했으며, 예수사랑교회의 김송한 목사는 신앙과 회복의 중요성을 설교했 다. 또한, 알래스카 한문화센터의 키 게 티(Key Getty)는 세대 간의 유대감과 한 인 문화의 소중함을 강조했다.

공연과 연설 후에는 맛있는 한식이 푸짐 하게 준비된 만찬이 이어졌다. 이날 잔 치의 하이라이트는 새해의 행운과 장수 를 기원하는 전통 음식 떡국이었으며, 참석자들은 따뜻한 식사를 함께 나누며 새해의 기운을 북돋았다.

2025년 노인회 신년 구정잔치는 단순한 축제를 넘어, 앵커리지 한인사회의 결속 력과 따뜻한 정을 다시 한번 확인하는 자리였다. 어르신들과 참석자들은 희망 과 감사의 마음을 나누며 새해를 맞이했 고, 한 해 동안 건강과 행복이 가득하기 를 기원하며 행사를 마무리했다.

The Korean community in Anchorage gathered at the Korean Community Center on January 29th to celebrate the 2025 Senior New Year’s Party, a joyous event filled with heartfelt speeches, captivating performances, and a feast of traditional Korean cuisine.

The event kicked off with a light exercise session designed to help seniors loosen up physically and start the celebration feeling energized. With gentle stretches and movement, participants engaged in a fun and refreshing activity that set a positive tone for the rest of the day.

Seniors and community members were welcomed with warmth as they enjoyed a program that highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Korea while embracing the promise of a new year. The event featured a variety of entertainment, including a soulful saxophone performance of the beloved Korean folk song Arirang and powerful traditional drum performances on the Bohk (북) and Jang Go (장고) drums.

Several esteemed speakers shared words of encouragement, reflecting on the past year and looking ahead with optimism. Among them were the Consul & Head of the Consulate Park Joongsuk, Pastor Song Han Kim from Jesus Loves Church, and Key Getty from the Korean Cultural Center Alaska.

Following the speeches and performances, attendees gathered for a delicious meal featuring an array of Korean dishes. The highlight of the feast was the traditional tteokguk (rice cake soup), a dish believed to bring good fortune and longevity in the new year.

The 2025 Senior New Year’s Party was not just a celebration but also a reminder of the strength and closeness of the Korean community in Anchorage. With a shared spirit of joy and gratitude, seniors and guests welcomed the new year with hope and camaraderie, setting the stage for a promising year ahead.
